Saudi Arabia

  • Negotiated a 5 year contract with Saudi Aramco toward the establishment of a Justice of Institute of BC Campus, delivering Fire & Safety Division Fire Officer 1 and 2 courses using Saudi Aramco Fire Protection Department personnel within Saudi Arabia for a 5 year period.
  • Negotiated three one year contracts with Saudi Services (the North American arm of Saudi Aramco) toward providing 10 Saudi Aramco Fire Protection Department personnel per semester comprehensive Firefighter 1, 2 and Fire Officer 1,2,3 and 4 at the Justice Institute of BC campus in Canada.
  • Reviewed and provided comment on the Saudi Aramco Emergency Operations Center layout and operations.
  • Developed and delivered several leadership and professional management courses to Saudi Aramco personnel.
  • Negotiated several specialty fire technical courses with the Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) for course delivery within Saudi Arabia.

United Arab Emirates

  • Negotiated and assisted in delivering several technical rescue courses to United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi Civil Defense personnel who used lessons learned in Pakistan earthquake International Rescue Efforts.
  • Presenter “Public Service the Canadian Way”, INTERSEC Middle East, Dubai, UAE.

Hong Kong

  • Negotiated and delivered consulting expertise leading to delivery of first responder emergency medical services by fire personnel within the Hong Kong Fire Service.
  • Negotiated delivery of High Angle Rescue Training courses to Hong Kong Fire Service within Hong Kong.

Oman

  • Responsible for integration of Oman Fire College courses to the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) standard of the United Kingdom university educational system.
  • Assisted in the integration of Oman Fire College course studies into the University of Central Lancashire Fire baccalaureate program. Responsible for developing, coordinating and delivering a full semester fire prevention course meeting NFPA standards and IFSAC accreditation through examples of Middle Eastern, United Kingdom and European Building and Fire Codes.

Uganda

  • After conducting a need analysis, designed, developed and co-delivered a series of “train the trainer” two day seminars, with a focus upon a variety of sectors including petrochemical industry, tourism sector, local government officials, public fire educators and members of the police/fire service in Uganda.
