Province of BC, BC Firestorm 2003 Provincial Review As a result of 2,500 wildfires destroying over 334 homes and many businesses, with an estimated cost of over $700 million, the review was established by the provincial government to supply recommendations across all levels of government: federal, provincial, municipal and regional. Maddess Consulting Services was hired to review and analyze data, testimony, and government actions in the areas of Command and Control, Emergency Planning, Post Incident Recovery and Evacuation. All recommendations supplied by Maddess Consulting Service to the final review report were subsequently adopted by the Province of British Columbia. |
Justice Institute of British Columbia, New Westminster, BC As a result of difficulties that the 5,000 student Fire & Safety Division was experiencing, Maddess Consulting Services was retained in the Directors role to manage and direct the 30 full time and 200 part time employees toward a more effective delivery system. Appointed as Quality Control Officer responsible for courses meeting the UK Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education standards as well as delivering a program meeting NFPA & IFSAC standards. |
